  Awful staff at this location. I have heard other bad things about the staff here from more than one person,including rudeness, careless mistakes, false accusations, and found out for myself when the staff made a mistake on a prescription by misdating it, including the incorrect day of the actual visit on the prescription, as well as incorrect fill date. Instead of owning up to their mistake, they turned the blame on myself with untruthful accusations, which ultimately caused me to be dismissed from their practice. The nurse there,Melissa, has a terrible bedside manner and does not show care for patients, not even a smile. Her careless mistake has caused grief, depression, loss of money and other hardships for me,including trying to find a new Doctor who I can trust, and will have to have over 9 years of records transferred. The nurse also carelessly left out my specimen after a Pap Smear a few years back, causing me to have to have the uncomfortable procedure done again. I am still unsure to this day if this was done purposely because we had discussed a problem with this mistake happening before, I am pretty sure this was not a coincidence. I'm not sure if she is racist, or just judgemental and dislikes people that she does not know for her own personal reasons. They have also made me take more than one urine analysis within a 2 week time frame, because they did not turn in the analysis, or the paperwork that I personally signed and dated. This is only required once an month so I was over charged $25 for their carelessness. It had nothing to do with my analysis, there has never been a problem with the results of any blood or urine screen taken for many years. I have never had any problems. I have, however heard from another former patient that they mixed up her urine analysis with another patient, which caused her to be dismissed from their practice.Because the staff cannot get dates right and point the blame elsewhere, with false accusations to cover themselves and their jobs, I now have to find a new Doctor,that takes my insurance within a month, after 9 long years of loyalty under my trusted physician who should know better. He knows myself and my family very well. I am a very sick person with many problems including manic depression, anxiety. If I don't get my anxiety meds in time, I could suffer from withdrawal including sickness, and seizures I cannot help but feel that the Doctors here are more concerned about the staff there over the patients.If you would like to see the Doctor(s) acquainted with this facility, I would recommend the Asheboro Office over the Ramseur Office for more reasons than stated here. The office is much nicer and their staff receptionists and nurses are much nicer, and print out RX rather than hand write them for the Doctor.Unless they change the staff,specifically the Nurse and the receptionist in this office, I would not recommend this office to my worst enemy. The staff is careless and causes problems for people who have been patients with Horizon Internal Medicine long before the Ramseur location was ever opened.
